almost there

one day before your birthday, mama has been offered and accepted a job. i'll be a teacher (in your terms). while i am very excited and happy, i feel sad that there will be less chance to laze in bed with you in the morning. it is always the best time. i guess mama got to be more aware that moments like these are not to be taken granted for. just like many things in life.

it was as if the neighbours were invited to a surprise birthday party (according to papa). there was a black out in our apartment block last night. we waited and waited, still darkness. fortunately we have our battery-op nightlight.

while the green light filled the room, papa & I had you in between us in the bed (you were nursing of cos!) both of us trying to ignore the heat. it was a beautiful moment. it was so surreal, mama felt so cool and contented, with you fussing about. nursing, playing & giggling…

“..erh??!...” that’s the sound you like to make.

ah!....deh, deh, deh…it went on. and suddenly the lights came! We cheered!

you truned into sticky muah-chee form during the blackout!

now hours later, I am still unable to sleep.

prepared party bags for your friends (together with papa).

ironed your dresses (don’t know which dress is better, so i ironed them all)

this blog is giving mama a lot of problem. grrrhhh…!

later at 09:29 (GMT 8:00), 9.6 plus kg weight, 70 something cm height. you turn ONE year old.
